As of July 1, 2008, the Office of the Building Inspector/Code Enforcement will require a valid NH Gas Fitter License in order to obtain a Gas Permit. Gas Permits ($25) are required by the Town of Wakefield for the installation of gas stoves, furnaces, water heaters, etc. If you have any questions please call: (603) 522-6205 X 308. Thank you.

Generator installation requires both a Gas and an Electrical Permit.

The Township of Wakefield is rated for a 90lb windload and 95lb ground snow load.
