The filing period for the Town office elected positions will start January 25, 2012 and end on February 3, 2012, at 5:00 p.m.

(1) Selectman 3 year term
(1)Tax Collector 3 year term
(1) Planning Board 3 year term
(1) Treasurer 1 year term
(3) Budget Committee 3 year term

(1) Supervisor of the Checklist 6 year term

(1) Assessor 3 year term
(1) Trustee of the Trust Funds 3 year term
(1) Cemetery Trustee 3 year term

 

The filings must be filed with the Town Clerk during the hours of:
Monday and Wednesday 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
On February 3, the Town Clerk's office will be open until 5:00 p.m.

          

 

Wakefield School District Public Notice
Candidacy for School District Positions

The filing period for the School Office elected positions will start on January 25, 2012 and end on February 5, 2012, at 5:00 p.m.

(1) School District Treasurer 1 Year Term
(2) School Board Members 3 Year Term
(1) School Board Member 1 Year Term

The filings must be made with the School District Clerk, Deborah D. Gauthier.  
Call her at (603) 522-0160 to make an appointment to sign up. 
On February 3, 2012, the Town Clerk’s office will be open until 5:00 p.m. for filings. 
Ms. Gauthier will be at Town Hall between 3:00 p.m and 5:00 p.m.

 

 

 

 

To the residents of the Town of Wakefield:

 

You are hereby notified to meet for the First Session of the Annual Town Meeting,
to be held in the Opera House of the Town Hall, 2 High Street, Sanbornville on Saturday, February 4, 2012, at 7 p.m. 
The First Session will consist of explanation, discussion, and debate of each of the warrant articles
and will afford those voters who are present the opportunity to debate
and adopt amendments to each warrant article, unless otherwise prescribed by state law. 
A copy of the warrant articles may be obtained at Town Hall during regular business hours, or by visiting
