In addition to current fiction and non-fiction, we have books on tape and videos. We participate in an active inter-library loan program with over 300 New Hampshire libraries and can obtain most book request within a one or two week period. We are online and offer public access to the internet. We have a fax machine available to the public at $2 for the first page and $1 per page after that, and a copy machine at 10cents per copy.

"Our goal is to provide the townspeople with the opportunity to learn to read and write, or obtain a GED free of charge, on a one-on-one basis in a private setting"
Our Friends of the Wakefield Libraries meets at the Poor People's Pub for lunch the second Wednesday of every month to plan programs. They always welcome new members
We feature the Paul School summer reading list and have three copies of each book on the list so that everybody has a chance to obtain a book.
