Wakefield is located just off Route 16, a major north/south corridor, in the heart of New England. We are close to lakes, mountains, the seacoast, and the cities of North Conway, Portsmouth, and Wolfeboro, New Hampshire; Kittery and Portland, Maine; and Boston, Massachusetts.
By preserving its "Old New England Town Charm" and at the same time embracing the technologies of the "New Millennium", Wakefield offers both quality of life and modern conveniences.
|
| In Wakefield, there's something happening no matter what the season. Time it right and you might catch Wakefield Pride Day in May, a Gafney Library book sale, concert at the Opera House, or one of the many family events held at Turntable Park.
