Effective August 1, 2021: Amended Parking Ordinance for the Town of Wakefield
Adopted by the Selectmen on July 14, 2021
“It shall be unlawful to park any motor vehicle with a trailer, as defined above, attached thereto on either side of Meadow Street, in its entirety, for a period of longer than thirty (30) minutes. This portion shall include from the intersection of Meadow Street with Wakefield Road/Witchtrot Road out to the intersection of White Mountain Highway (Route 16). Violators will be fined $50.00 for each occurrence and the vehicle may be towed and its owner may be responsible for towing and storage fees.”
Please note, vehicle/trailer parking is available just south of the Public Safety Building (across from Lovell Lake Road).
